Who is your guide Karin?

As a young girl, I came from a small town in the Kempen to the big city of Antwerp to study. A new world opened for me, I got chances, I got to know the city from the inside out, ... in short, I fell in love with Antwerp! Since then my love for Antwerp has only increased: I moved to the city, I came to live and enjoy it!

In 2016 I followed the training for tour guides, so I finally can turn my passion into my profession. In 2018, I became city guide Turnhout and in September 2021 also in Antwerp. My dream has finally become reality: In addition to my career in education, I am now a qualified and independent tour guide.

My tours are not boring history lessons, but interactive, from the world of the visitor. With stories and anecdotes, I try to transform every walk into a real experience.

My greatest assets are my enthusiasm, passion and customer-friendliness. My visitors have an active role, so no two walks are the same.
